Hand Dyed Fabric

It's always a good time for Gingerbread.

One of our favourite fabrics every year, this gingerbread gorgeousness with light, beautiful mottling across all hopefully hits the spot. The dye is relatively even across all fabrics, a little lighter on the 40 count evenweave.

All fabrics are dyed using Zweigart base fabric and fibre reactive dyes and the edges of the fabric are serged to prevent fraying. Cut sizes are measured before dyeing and some fabrics do shrink up during the dye process. 

Aida / opal aida - 18" x 21" pieces.
Evenweave / opal evenweave / linen / opal linen - 18" x 27" pieces.

Fabrics are not guaranteed colourfast or lightfast. 

Some fabric types, and even counts, take the dye differently resulting in some types dyeing richer, darker or more mottled. Please see the photograph for how each fabric dyed.
