Hand Dyed Fabric

A sage green base dye with a few subtle yellow and darker green tone shadows. The mottling is light on this one and the dye is relatively even across all fabrics, other than the opal evenweaves which dyed lighter.

This is by far my favourite fabric of the day, and as is always the
case with my favourites, the camera is not being nice and the phot
just isn't doing it justice.

All fabrics are dyed using Zweigart base fabric and fibre reactive dyes and the edges of the fabric are serged to prevent fraying. Cut sizes are measured before dyeing and some fabrics do shrink up during the dye process. 

Aida / opal aida - 18" x 21" pieces.
Evenweave / opal evenweave / linen / opal linen - 18" x 27" pieces.

Fabrics are not guaranteed colourfast or lightfast. 

Some fabric types, and even counts, take the dye differently resulting in some types dyeing richer, darker or more mottled. Please see the photograph for how each fabric dyed.
