Hand Dyed Fabric

A bit of a wild and wacky fabric. 

As you can see from the picture, the linens have dyed so differently from the other fabrics, so please keep that in mind when ordering. Predominantly brown but with some blue, red and yellow background swirls, the linens have taken on more of the red tones and the aidas and evenweaves more of the blue. The result - fabrics that were dyed using the same dye mix but which look completely different. With mid to strong mottling on all.

All fabrics are dyed using Zweigart base fabric and fibre reactive dyes and the edges of the fabric are serged to prevent fraying. Cut sizes are measured before dyeing and some fabrics do shrink up during the dye process. 

Aida / opal aida - 18" x 21" pieces.
Evenweave / opal evenweave / linen / opal linen - 18" x 27" pieces.

Fabrics are not guaranteed colourfast or lightfast. 

Some fabric types, and even counts, take the dye differently resulting in some types dyeing richer, darker or more mottled. Please see the photograph for how each fabric dyed.
