Hand Dyed Fabric

Orangey beiges with blue grey mottling, can you tell I had the sand and the sea of recently visited beaches on my mind?! The fabrics mainly have medium mottling on although the 40 evenweaves have dyed a little softer and a little lighter.

All fabrics are dyed using Zweigart base fabric and fibre reactive dyes and the edges of the fabric are serged to prevent fraying. Cut sizes are measured before dyeing and some fabrics do shrink up during the dye process. 

Aida / opal aida - 18" x 21" pieces.
Evenweave / opal evenweave / linen / opal linen - 18" x 27" pieces.

Fabrics are not guaranteed colourfast or lightfast. 

Some fabric types, and even counts, take the dye differently resulting in some types dyeing richer, darker or more mottled. Please see the photograph for how each fabric dyed.
