14. Hand Dyed Fabric

Here we have a swirl of pinks and browns again but with the emphasis more on the pinks. Predominantly pink with pinks and brown background shadows, the 36 linens have dyed a lot lighter and with more subtle mottling and the 32 linens have dyed stronger and darker.

All fabrics are dyed using Zweigart base fabric and fibre reactive dyes and the edges of the fabric are serged to prevent fraying. Cut sizes are measured before dyeing and some fabrics do shrink up during the dye process. 

Aida / opal aida - 18" x 21" pieces.
Evenweave / opal evenweave / linen / opal linen - 18" x 27" pieces.

Fabrics are not guaranteed colourfasr or lightfast. 

Some fabric types, and even counts, take the dye differently resulting in some types dyeing richer, darker or more mottled. Please see the photograph for how each fabric dyed.
