Hand Dyed Fabric

Rich blues and greens with light to mid mottling, this would be the perfect background for a stormy seas piece. The colours are richest on the linens (other than 36) but are as gorgeous on all fabric types IMO.

All fabrics are dyed using Zweigart base fabric and fibre reactive dyes and the edges of the fabric are serged to prevent fraying. Cut sizes are measured before dyeing and some fabrics do shrink up during the dye process. 

Aida / opal aida - 18" x 21" pieces.
Evenweave / opal evenweave / linen / opal linen - 18" x 27" pieces.

Fabrics are not guaranteed colourfast or lightfast. 

Some fabric types, and even counts, take the dye differently resulting in some types dyeing richer, darker or more mottled. Please see the photograph for how each fabric dyed.
